Victorian Stage 4 Business Restrictions
18th August 2020
The following advice is from the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner:
The Victorian Government has implemented restrictions to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Pursuant to these restrictions certain business must not trade.
On 5 August 2020, the State Government introduced Stage 4 restrictions for businesses located in metropolitan Melbourne. Under the Restricted Activity Directions (Restricted Areas) (No 6) all businesses providing cosmetic treatment services are prohibited from operating until Stage 4 Restrictions are eased. This is because cosmetic treatment services cannot be characterised as Permitted Work Premises in accordance with the Stage 4 Restrictions – Permitted Work Premises List.
