Laser Safety Officer’s Course

 

This theory-based course offered by Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia focuses on the clinical aspects of light and laser treatments, covering the essential safety standards outlined in the Radiation Safety Act. It provides the foundational knowledge required for obtaining a laser licence and ensuring safe, compliant practise in cosmetic medicine.

 

Recognised by QLD Radiation Health and the Radiological Council of WA, this course serves as an official Radiation/Laser Safety Officer’s Certificate, meeting the key requirements set by Australia’s leading laser authorities.

Course Duration and Study Commitment

This is a self-paced learning course which is delivered via online lectures, providing you with a flexible learning approach. The curriculum consists of three online lectures with interactive activities to help consolidate learning. Assessment is based on a multiple-choice question exam. The time commitment typically required is 2 to 3 hours per week over a 6-week period.
