– Understanding AHPRA’s guidelines on mental health assessment of cosmetic patients

Description

This online short course represents a unique partnership between Monash University and the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia. It provides foundational knowledge to promote understanding of the importance of mental health assessments for individuals seeking cosmetic procedures, and the necessary procedures to implement these assessments.

Presenters are Associate Professor Gemma Sharp, Nileshni Fernando, and Alisha Randhawa (Monash University), and Dr David Kosenko and Dr Keturah Hoffman (Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia).

There are five comprehensive modules in this self-paced online course with multiple choice assessments at the end of each module.

A certificate of completion will be issued after successful completion of the five module assessments.

Upon completion of the course, there is also the opportunity to undertake 3 extra hours of continuing professional development (CPD) focused on measuring outcomes and reviewing performance.
