Laser Safety Officer’s Course


This is a theory-based course, which focuses on the clinical aspects of light and Laser treatment and the required safety standards as outlined by the Radiation Safety Act.

The course is recognised by the two main Laser authorities: QLD Radiation Health and the Radiological Council of WA as an official Radiation/Laser Safety Officer’s Certificate.

Course Duration and Study Commitment

This is a self-paced learning course which is delivered via online lectures, providing you with a flexible learning approach. The curriculum consists of three online lectures with interactive activities to help consolidate learning. Assessment is based on a multiple-choice question exam. The time commitment typically required is 2 to 3 hours per week over a 6-week period.
