Membership Levels

CPCA Membership Levels

The CPCA has several levels of membership that are based on a member’s level of skill and experience. All new members enter the College as Corresponding Members, and once admitted, higher levels of membership can be achieved via successful completion of the CPCA’s Registrar Training Program and/or application to the Membership Review Committee. The upgrade application form is accessible to current members only via the member’s portal.

 

Levels of CPCA Membership include:

Corresponding Members

Entry into the CPCA is via Corresponding Membership. This level accounts for Medical practitioners with minimal experience in cosmetic medicine or an interest-only in cosmetic medicine, as well as those wishing to enter into the College’s nationally accredited Registrar Training Program, and those wishing to apply for Full Membership or Fellowship.

 

Corresponding Members have access to all education, training, and networking opportunities that are hosted by, or promoted via the CPCA.

 

As a Corresponding Member of the CPCA you can:

 

  • Take advantage of most CPCA member benefits
  • Enrol to study the Graduate Certificate in Cosmetic Medicine (Stage 1 of the CPCA’s Registrar Training Program)
  • Apply to the Membership Review Committee for Full Membership of the CPCA.

Full Members

Medical practitioners with significant experience in cosmetic medicine and a demonstrated competency in a range of cosmetic procedures. Subject to Membership Review Committee approval.

 

Once you have been upgraded to a Full Member of the CPCA, you can:

  • Attend a convocation ceremony where you will be awarded a formal Full Membership Certificate and badge.
  • Take advantage of the same CPCA Member Benefits as a Corresponding Member plus:
  • Utilise the CPCA Full Membership Logo on personal websites and advertising materials.
  • Be located by patients on the CPCA Find-a-Doctor webpage.
  • Vote at CPCA Annual General Meetings
  • Apply to the Membership Review Committee for Fellowship of the CPCA (subject to approval).

Fellows

Medical practitioners with extensive experience in cosmetic medicine and a demonstrated competency in a wide range of cosmetic procedures. Fellows are expected to contribute to the furtherment of College objectives such as research or education. Subject to Membership Review Committee approval.

 

Once you have been upgraded to a Fellow of the CPCA, you can:

  • Attend a convocation ceremony where you will be awarded a formal Fellowship Certificate and badge.
  • Take advantage of the same CPCA Member Benefits as a Full Member plus:
  • Utilise the CPCA Fellow Logo on personal websites and advertising materials.
  • Utilise the post nominal FCPCA.
  • Be elected for a CPCA Board or Committee role.

Honorary Members

A person who, in the opinion of the Board, has made an outstanding contribution to the College.

Life Members

A person who, in the opinion of the Board, has made a significant, consistent, and long running contribution to the College.

Corporate Members (Sponsors)

A firm, company, or organisation which, in the opinion of the Board, is engaged in activities consistent with the objectives of the College.
